Pacey and enterprising display sees Bedworth earn victory
A frantic opening ten minutes should have seen United in front, Cooper, McLintock and Hilton all having chances to score, the last mentioned crashing a header off the crossbar.
But the visitor's Mienambolo forced a save at the near post from Vervoort (GK) on their first venture forward, with United gaining the territorial edge it was the home side who continued to threaten but they couldn't convert their chances.
Eventually their pressure gained a deserved goal when Beddows broke clear with a determined run, he played in Hilton to apply the finishing touch (1-0)
Newberry (GK) was brought into action just after when he had to parry a great drive from defender Connor Bates and Sam McLintock then hit a crisp cross across the visitor's box with no Bedworth player on hand to finish.
Milton Keyne's Redrup fired a warning to United after 49 minutes his low effort bringing a good save from Dan Vervoort , back came the home side with Hilton, Harris and McLintock all having shots from distance but their efforts fading high or wide of the goal.
A great free-kick taken by McLintock saw United go two-up, he found Will Harris, his low finish giving Newberry no chance.
After a break forward Quigley drove in on goal for the visitor's, but Vervoort did well to block his on-target effort a more urgent Milton Keyne's College did get a goal back on 61 minutes, a move involving Quigley and Paezy (11) saw the wide-playing forward finish to make it 2-1.
United thought they had added a third when McLintock's free-kick was only pushed out by Newberry, Hilton pushing the ball home only to be ruled as in an offside position.
Alex Lock broke up a move from the visitor's and went on a determined run forward, his effort on goal just drifting wide, a fantastic pacey break forward by Beddows in the 87th minute gained United a penalty, having been brought down by Richards he handed the spot-kick to Hilton, his effort however was well-saved by Newberry, diving low to his right.
Bedworth saw out the game quite comfortably and registered a hard-earned win.
