Hickey's Single Enough To Send The Canaries Home Singing

Drab affair sees Barwell collect the points
The football on display was pretty uninspiring for those 195 in attendance as both sides struggled to get a hold in a game that was devoid of many chances.
United's Albrighton saw a hooked effort well saved by Castle in the visitor's goal and Baimbridge in the United goal did well to deny Gascoigne as he tipped a strong header over the bar.
A huge moment followed as Castle blatantly blocked off Rowley as he looked odds-on to score, a shocked home side denied yet again another penalty this season, for some reason referee Barratt waved their appeals away.
The game lacked intensity and Hickey for Barwell tried an unlikely effort from 30-yards that went hopelessly high. (HT 0-0)
Early in the 2nd-half Hickey saw a header saved by the Baimbridge, but Bedworth pressed forward but lacked the quality in the final third and got punished in the 76th minute as a Rowe shot was not held close to his body by United's keeper and the spilled effort fell kindly for Hickey to tap in. (0-1)
Bedworth then went down to 10-men as Fitzharris got a straight red for a hack-down of a Barwell forward and the visitor's held out for the final 11 minutes despite United's all too late rally.
