Bedworth got the game underway and started bright and playing some lovely passing football and was only a couple of minutes in and Phinley put the ball in the back of the net. Then only a minute or so later a cross came in from the right and Kayne came in at the back post to put away number 2.
The lads were playing some great football taking on a player and then passing it off with some great one twos, with this great football game goal number 3 when Will was left free in the box to slot the ball home.
At this point we made some changes and bought on all 3 subs and they all slotted in great with some of the lads playing out of position but putting a great effort in.
Our 4th goal was a unfortunate home goal with a bit of pin ball in their box. Then with the half coming to an end Maddox got our 5th goal with some good work between Harry And Will then playing in Maddox to put it in the back of the net.
Half Time Binley 0 BUFC 5
Binley got the second half underway and came out a lot stronger then they did in the first half, pushing us back into our own half, then it came and they got the goal they had been pushing for, with some of the lads asking for handball but nothing given and Binley put past Tom from close range. The lads were starting to look a little tired and struggling to keep hold of the ball. I got the lads to put a bit more pace into the game as the slow movement was benefiting Binley, once the lads started passing and moving the ball faster Binley were on the back foot again and the lads were creating chance after chance and with a run down the left from Ethan and then played a little ball inside to Phinley who used his strength to hold of the defender slotted the ball home for his second and our 6th goal.
This seamed to knock Binley and we had most of the ball again and weren’t too long before we got our 7th goal with the midfield pushing high into there half the ball came across to Will on the edge of the box, he got in front of the defender with a little touch he was past him and put a lovely shot into the top left corner sweet goal. Then to round off a great team performance and his confidence high Kayne picked up the ball just inside his own half and went on a run down the left going past player after player and cutting inside a little we all thought the angle was too tight and he would cross it in but put it past the keeper. Great individual goal.
So the whistle went for full time Binley 1 BUFC 8
